I’ve only ever heard this book preached in the context of intercession or leadership.
And what’s crazy about that is the actual content of the book: it’s about a well-connected spiritual guy who gets into politics.
He oversees political revival as well as spiritual revival.
And we need a strategy to read this book because the leadership message is archetypal and the intercessory message is tertiary.
As well, our people read these obvious passages about politics and then nobody is suggesting a strategy to read.
That’s what I’m attempting to do with this message.
Also, I have a Democrat worship leader in my church who is more of a JFK Dem / Socialist than a Kamala Kool-Aid Dem. How do I share this text in a way that entreats both him and the MAGA hat wearing guy into a common vision as hearers?
