Is Anointing Yourself Biblical?
Allie Beth Stuckey recently dunked on a well-meaning girl that was anointing herself with oil and the internet went nuts. A lot of people jumped in.
Allie called it witchcraft and New Age.
Should Christians anoint themselves with oil?
And what does the oil signify?
What exactly is anointing for?
My take is that I didn’t see anyone answer the most important questions about anointing because nobody seems capable of defining it properly. Everyone is lost if they cannot define the first principle.
Btw I’m an Allie fan but perhaps she was harsh in her criticism.
